Introducing Rob
Hi, I'm Rob Young.
I have a long history in the corporate world, working in a variety of positions for Early Learning Centre, Mothercare and Homebase.
I then joined Asset Guardian back in 2015 as a trainee Will Writer, on a part time basis, as I wanted to learn the business before taking the plunge and beginning to give clients advice about their Wills.
Over a period of 2-3 years I studied until I was able to demonstrate my proficiency in Estate Planning, and after 10 years in the business I became the managing director of Asset Guardian Wills Limited.

Here at Asset Guardian Wills, we are proud to be affiliated with The Society of Will Writers – a non-profit making, self-regulatory organisation which seeks to protect the public and serve the interests of those men and women who are active professionals in our field.
The Society of Will Writers was founded in 1994, and has since grown to become not only the largest but also the leading self-regulatory body governing Will Writers and Estate Planners. It has over 1,700 members across the UK, Central Europe and further afield places such as Asia and Africa.
The Society has set itself two main tasks:
To promote to the public at large the real need and sense in having a valid Will;
To act as a self-regulatory body by vetting practitioners through stringent membership requirements, proficiency standards and ongoing training.
I am proud to be a member – and currently Secretary-Treasurer – of BNI Read in West Swindon.
